never mind i'll find someone like you..

do excuse the fact that the beret is on at a ridiculous angle..i have been trying to make the most of the rare weather this week by driving around with the roof off on my car, hence the beret which was added for extra warmth on monday evening..

this is monday's outfit, because i currently am so tired i could cry, and the photos from this morning show that, so i'm leaving them out..i love this dress, i have both of the colours, and figured i could get away with it for the office if i dressed it up with this cropped blazer..weirdly, i realised when i was reading jen's blog the other day, that i only have this cropped version of a blazer..it got me wondering if i needed to invest in a real-length one..i do like that this can be added to an outfit and dress it up a little more..i also like these tights, which are nice and warm, from new look..the only trouble with them is that they look far too big around the ankles..all my tights seem to do this, is it because i machine wash them? of the fact that i'm not proportionately tall enough for the size of my thighs and bum area?!

  1. The dress is lovely! And the cute cropped blazer is a nice touch to the outfit as a whole. Can't help you with the tights thing as I find a lot of mine do the same. x

  2. Love the dress and didn't notice the beret at a jaunty angle - it looks like the right sort of angle to me. Not sure about the tights conundrum. I wash mine in the washing machine too but on a woollens wash.

  3. Ooh love your puffy dress! I've been employing the services of my beret lately, find its the only hat that stays on my head when the wind starts up! :)

My tights are mostly M&S and Dotty P's and last for ever. xxx

  7. The beret is super cute and that dress is a stunner. The shape of the blazer works so well with it too.

I shove my basic black tights in the normal wash and they seem to last ok. I handwash all the others though - only takes 10 minutes if you save up a batch and do them all at once.

  9. Haha! No-one's tall enough for the size of my arse and thighs. And I always suffer from Nora Batty syndrome. I console myself with the fact that I'm clearly bootylicious. Not learned to love the legs yet but I'm sure it'll come. And I very much enjoy this combo on you xx
