raindrops on roses..

a busy day for me today as i am off runnning a camp skills day for some of my guides, and then off to a 50th birthday party of the lasy who helps me at guides every week, she is having a big celidgh party and i had a total dilemma about what to get for her..she asked for no presents, but it's a bit of a milestone birthday isn't it and i always think it's totally rude to go to someone's party without a gift..

is it bad that i am so pleased there is enough fabric left for me to make myself a dress?!

so i decided to go for something homemade and make her a 'plate bag' for camp (just a drawstring bag with a handle long enough to be hung up in the dining shelter when we are not using it, and which contains all your set of mug, plates, bowls, cutlery etc for camp) and to go with it i decorated her a set of cutlery for camp as well..i hope she likes them...
