it's gonna get louder..

blouse: new look

here is my outfit post from yesterday, i'm starting to get back on track with work, and have a few more outfits to post about..

this sheer blouse is something i'd had my eye on for a little while in new look, and saw in the sale on sunday with a button missing, so managed to get my hands on it for less than a fiver..i decided that i think the polka dots are a navy colour, and therefore to wear it over one of the only all-navy dresses i could think of - this one from topshop has resided in my wardrobe for a good few years but has hardly been worn..

i do like the two pieces together, i think the colours are good, but the fit of the shirt could have been better, i tucked it into a waist belt as it's quite long, but maybe it needed to be tied or something..not sure, but i'm feeling like it's one for the "almost there" pile..

also just want to say that i hope everyone reading is staying safe during these uncertain riot times..

  1. Ooh, it sort of reminds me of the Flintstones. In a good way though! I really like it.

  4. It's a lovely shirt, suits you and who can resist a tutu!!!! But WHERE are your shoes? :-)

Yes, staying safe thankyou but it was rather close to home last night with looting in 3 major towns round my suburb and a relative whose car was hit by a brick!

  6. Two things I am loving at the moment: tulle and blue! The colours do look great together.
Maybe try the blouse tucked into a skirt or experiment with belts?
