so you don't confuse them with mountains..

dress: warehouse // necklace: local boutique
tights: primark
handbag: h+m
After the chaos of the last few weeks, I was rather relishing the prospect of a quiet weekend at home. On Saturday morning I headed into town with a list of errands, on the bicycle. Well, to be entirely honest, it needed fixing, so I actually walked it into town, seem to have fixed it, and cycled it home again.

I can't decide whether or not I'm excited by the apparent change in the seasons, or not. Ordinarily, I'm a big fan of the summer and can't get enough of sunbathing and sandals! But there's something lovely about the thought of layering up in hats and scarves for the crisp, cold mornings. And a trip around the shops in town meant that there are a few Autumn essentials on my list. All being well, I'm off to the Bullring next weekend with a friend, so I managed to refrain from buying any of them.

I also spent a large part of the weekend starting The Great Clearout. Something I've been meaning to get around to for a while, given that the majority of my clothes no longer fit me to a point where they are wearable. I plan to add them to the blog sale page here very soon, so keep an eye out.

  1. I love the mix of prints between the dress and tights! x

  2. I'm looking forward to Autumn and layering, don't think I've really got the knack for dressing for hot weather! I'm also clearing out my flat a bit, I find it quite therapeutic. xx

  3. I love your tights, they'd be brilliant to jazz up any outfit! I'm looking forward to layering up for A/W :)
