I love the print on this little red herring dress, which mum spotted on a quick trip to Debenhams at the weekend. It reminds me of those little paper dolls we used to make, with paper clothes which you'd cut around with tabs to fold them onto the doll - anyone else remember something like that?

I feel as though I haven't had a very productive weekend, I didn't get many of the things I'd planned done as I wasn't feeling well for a lot of the time, but I am making progress with the first dress - actually since this picture was taken the pieces have all been cut out and are waiting to be assembled. Perhaps a job for tonight, after spinning class?

  8. I bought that dress months ago as I love the print, but don't know what to do with it as I'm not sure dropped hems are my thing! I actually discovered a bag of my sister and I's paper dolls at the weekend, we were crying with laughter at them (we had names for them all and they ran a clothing store which we designed all the clothes for). We used to buy a few books of them and that would keep us amused all summer long!
