friday favourites 039..

001: heels:irregular choice, £87.99
002: Ted Baker Chadie dress, £199
As I think I've mentioned previously, this year I decided that I'd give up spending for Lent. This means no new clothes, shoes or anything for myself until Easter. That said, I think I may try and continue with the ban for as long as I can. I've also given up sweets, junk food etc, which is something else I hope to continue with for a while.

001: I've been doing fairly well with the ban so far; I've not been to the shops so have resisted temptation. Until I was catching up on some of my favourite blogs this week and saw these pretty Irregular Choice shoes, which would just be perfect for summer. (If it ever arrives, that is).

002: Likewise, when reading about Louise's new dress, I totally fell for it and bookmarked it straight away. I'd probably wear them with the shoes above, for total floral overload. I've never been all that impressed with Ted Baker's offerings in the past, but a quick browse on the website yesterday came up with some gems: lots of florals and pretty prints.

What's been catching your eye this week? I'm trying to stay away from all the sale emails which have been sailing into my inbox this morning.

  1. The dress is amazing xx

ide love if you checked my blog out x

  2. LOVE both those prints, wish there was a little sunshine for them! Good luck with your lent challenge =) xx

  3. that dress is stunning!!! wish I had a spare £200 :(

  4. Ted Baker seen to have really upped their game recently, I've spotted loads of things I've unexpectedly adored! Your choice of shoes is, as always, amazing :)

  5. I saw a lovely umbrella on the Lulu Guinness website, seasonally appropriate I thought but I can't justify spending that much on a brolly - no matter how much it rains!
LOVE this Ted Baker dress but it's waaaay out of my spending budget.
