#BEDM Day 24: fridge..

Today's #BEDM topic is a bit of a non-starter for me. Usually, there is nothing in my fridge, other than butter, some jam and maybe some cheese.

There's a fairly simple explanation. I never go food shopping. It bores me, I can't get excited about it and so get easily distracted. Usually by the clothes section.

dress: clothing at tesco
shoes: primark
cardigan: clothing at tesco
This cardigan was a Clothing at Tesco sale bargain last year, when I had some time to kill waiting for the rangers to finish their kayaking lesson.

The dress is a much more recent Clothing at Tesco purchases - I took advantage of their recent summer clothes promotions and discount codes a couple of times at the end of April! Already, it's up there as a front-runner for my favourite dress of the year, so far. I love the shape and the fact that the bodice is shaped so that it's not gapey at the top, which is what I've found with so many dresses lately.

I can't be the only one who finds food shopping thoroughly dull, surely?

  1. I confess that I do actually quite enjoy food shopping, but that's because I'm not responsible for a main shop, so I get to go and waste money on impulse buys. Not sure how I'd feel if I was expected to actually plan meals and shop accordingly.

I love that dress though - it's gorgeous! So summery :)

  2. LOVE this outfit, so summery and the dress really suits you! I love Tesco clothing! xx

  3. Oooh, I like that dress! Tempting!x

  4. I hate food shopping too, it always seems to take SO long! I've taken to shopping online a bit now but even that takes forever and I usually always get something that's way bigger or smaller than expected! I somehow ended up with 4 jars of jam last time and I'm still not sure how that happened!

  5. I've been to the butchers today and so far it's been the high light of my day haha
I love this dress, never would have guessed it was a Tesco buy xxx

  6. I actually love food shopping! When I was little I used to go with my dad and we'd fill the trolley with treats - I've more or less picked up all his bad habits!

  7. great cardi and dress. tesco? it's a food store, isn't it?

  8. Ah that dress is really lovely, I haven't seen anything interesting online recently, but will have to look this one up. I used to love going food shopping, just any shopping and I like it! Do you eat out then or cook or do daily shops rather than a weekly grocery shop?
