A little while ago now, I'd been reading somebody's post where they'd mentioned signing up to the Kestrel Makes Spring Sewing Swap. I'm afraid I can't for the life of me remember whose blog I'd read it on, but I'm glad I did as it meant finding a new sewing blog to read and I signed up for the swap.
I was paired up with Fliss from The Offbeat Girl, which was fab as I love Fliss' blog and I set about finding her some fabric I hoped she would like.
Above is a picture of the parcel she sent to me, which included some pretty floral fabric, a tin of pins, a dress pattern I can't wait to get started on and plenty of pretty buttons and threads. She also wrote me the perfect shoe-themed card to go with her parcel.
Thanks very much Fliss, and I'll show you what I make with the fabric as soon as I find some time to get reacquainted with my poor, neglected sewing machine! Also, thank you very much for arranging the swap, Kerry.
