Another Sunday, another pair of new shoes. I've always had a bit of an uncertain feeling about cowboy boots. When someone mentions them, I always think of my Dad, who used to travel to the US quite often on business and built up quite the collection of different skins and colours over the years. I'm not sure if that put me off cowboy boots or what, but they're a trend that have passed me by, until now.

I saw these Betty London Zerme boots in the sale recently on Spartoo, and decided I couldn't pass them up. I was sort of drawn to the star design, which gives them something a little more interesting than just a tan boot. I also like that they're not too high on the leg. I don't have the right shaped calves to wear anything which stops mid-calf on me.

I'm almost looking forward to the change in weather to give myself a chance to wear them.

  1. These are gorgeous, the star details really makes them stand out.
Our Christmas party theme this year is Wild West, these would be perfect! x

  4. Not sure how I feel about cowboy boots. I used to have a black pair with red snakeskin trim and also an all black pair that were really just high heeled boots with 'cowboy' detailing, actually both were just ordinary boots with those little details. Anyway, don't think it's the type of thing I'd wear now despite their revival.
