Friday Favourites 081..

Laura Ashley SS14

Ever since I saw the lookbook for Laura Ashley's SS14 collection, I have started counting down the days until they start to hit the stores, in April. I seem to be holding out for the new ranges to hit the shops as I haven't really bought anything for a while now.

001 and 006: These pretty check dresses are very similar indeed to this checked dress I have from a few years ago. The one in that post no longer fits me, so I either need to alter it or get rid and buy the new ones. When they hit the stores, they will retail at £85.

002: Again, reminiscent of another Laura Ashley boat print dress I already own (and love), but this Sailboat Dress is a different colourscheme, which is different enough for me. Again, this one will be £85.

003: In my opinion, the gem of the whole lookbook; I can't wait for this Map Dress. Let's ignore the fact that I made a map print dress last weekend, because that is totally not the same. This one has whales and pirate ships on it and makes me think of buried treasure. (Again, this will be £85 which frankly is a much better price point than their dresses have been in recent years).

004: This bright pink Garden Cardigan will be £65 when it makes it into stores in April. It's such a lovely, bright base colour and I'm drawn to the contrast between that and the green in the print.

005: The Garden Rose Pencil Skirt caught my eye because of it's fab floral print and classic shape. This, too, will be £65.

I can't wait for some of these, I'm so glad that Laura Ashley is going back to it's 50s style inspiration for these collections, and can't wait to add to my collection..Which is your favourite?

I'm completely in love with your map print dress too btw. Where did you find the fabric?
