Review: Snugg iPhone Case

Snugg Pouch Case in Candy Pink Leather*

Last week, I took delivery of my shiny new iPhone 5S. It's not really that different to the 4S I had before, other than being a little larger and having a noticeably quicker processing speed. Since I can be a bit of a 'dropper', (think this guy), I was pretty glad when The Snugg got in touch with me at the perfect time to ask if I'd be willing to review one of their phone cases.

I went for this one, in the candy pink leather. I love the colour, and the leather itself seems to be of great quality. The front has a small cardholder section, which seems quite tight but may be useful if you were just going for a run or something without a handbag.

Snugg by name, snug by nature! To begin with I was struggling to fit the phone into the case, but after a week or so of use it seems to have loosened off just enough to make it fit quite easily. The back of the case has an elasticated strap which you pull to release the phone.

Obviously, with a case like this it's impossible to see whether you have a message or not, which can be an issue if you keep your phone on "silent" like I do, but I guess it makes it less of a distraction. Also, I have a setting where the light flashes every time you get a message or notification, which you can see from the top of the case, so it's not too bad.

For $19.99, I think this is a really good case, and it comes in a variety of colours.

  1. I want an iPhone, but I'm a total 'dropper' too so I've resisted thus far. I'd definitely need a case something like this if I did get one xxx

  2. Ooh that's pretty! I went for a see through plastic case as I didn't want to hide the shiny greenness of mine :)

    1. The benefit of this one is that it doesn't distract me as I can't see the screen when I'm supposed to be doing other things.

  3. Ooh that candy pink colour is so on trend for spring. I'm not a phone girl though to be honest, I have a fairly simple Sony phone and usually it is on silent in another room, but to the annoyance of everyone who knows me :)

    1. I'm not a technology person by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm pretty much glued to my phone.
