Sunday Shoes 049: Irregular Choice Pixie Dust

I have waved goodbye to a couple of the pairs from my Irregular Choice collection this week, but have also welcomed a new one in with open arms. Well, there may be another on the way as well, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

My latest IC purchase is Pixie Dust. A pair which has been on my wishlist for a while, so when I'd sold a couple of pairs to make some space in the kitchen cupboard, I finally took the plunge and ordered these from Lets Buy Shoes.

I chose the dark green fabric colourway as I preferred the contrast of the polka dots. Plus I think it's possible that I have some kind of subliminal love of dark green. Aside from the huge felt corsage on the front of the shoe, the most striking detail on Pixie Dust are the appliqued cat and flower details which are rather lovely.

The solid heel and platform make them really stable and comfortable to wear so now I'm looking forward to thinking up an outfit for their first outing as part of the #irregularchoicechallenge.

  1. Cute cute cute!!!! I love them! Someone I know was wearing Poetic license shoed at the party I went to yesterday and I asked if they were. I then discovered they read Roisin's blog too! I didn't let on that I had a blog though! X

  4. They are so lovely. I'd originally ordered the green, but they went oos, so I got the black, then the green came back. I wasn't as keen on the white blanket stitch on the black, but actually in the flesh they are gorgeous. Good to see you implementing a one in/one out policy, I always say I will, then....!!!

    1. Haha, it's gone a bit to pot since my trip to London. I bought two new pairs, although actually I've turfed out two more this week as well so it's not all bad.

    1. They do so many totally cute designs, I'm a bit biased as I'm a bit of a super fan, but I like them.
