I love visiting Sarah. Partly because she's awesome, but also partly because she often sends me home with new additions to the wardrobe. Like this neon print dress. I don't think I'd have bought this had I seen it in the shop, and yet when I tried it on, I found that I really liked the colours!

The only thing I wasn't quite sure about was the  length. I'm a bit funny about hemlines. I don't mind shorter dresses in the winter when I can wear tights under them, but when it comes to summer, I get a bit self-conscious about showing too much leg.

I've changed my gym programme so that I can try to focus more on reducing the size of my legs, as I really do hate them. I hope to see some changes soon.

I thought that the neon print would be the perfect background for my fabulous mermaid necklace to have her first outing - she was a birthday present from one of my best friends, who I just don't get to see often enough.

  1. It's always interesting to see what your friends would choose for you to wear and Sarah's right, this dress is gorgeous and totally suits you. P.S I'm a bit funny about hemlines too. x

    1. I don't understand why I feel more comfortable about them when I have a pair of tights on, I just do.

  6. You have a lovely pair of legs, but I am the same, I hate having bare legs, I just wear thinner tights in the summer instead.

    1. I have to admit, unless it really is tropical out there, I usually have my trusty nude tights on.

  7. Great colours on you and such a cute necklace, too! Can you still get footless tights? A colourful pair would look ace! xxx

  8. I've got quite chunky legs at the top but I don't care about that, I care about the fact they look so dry and pale but I just never think to moisturise my legs or am always in too much of a hurry to do so. They are really dry and horrid!!! Love the liberation efforts! The mermaid is super cute too x

    1. I don't remember being so self-conscious of them in the past but lately I'm really not happy with them. I don't moisturise as much as I ought to, my skin is really dry lately which I'm putting down to the amount of chlorine.

  10. Amazing outfit! I love everything. The dress looks stunning on you, and I love all the colours. That necklace is amazing, too! For the record, you have lovely legs, and have nothing to worry about. Although, I hate my legs, too, so I can understand how you feel. Mine have got bigger since I've been bed-ridden, and I hate that I've no control over them. xx
