So here are the fabrics which are currently topping my wishlist, hopeful to be my next purchases, although I have been telling myself (as usual) that I need to first work my way through what I have. And get working on the things I'm making for other people - pressure!
001: I love mustard. It's up there with my favourite colours, particularly for Autumn. I also love the little geometric shaped flowers on this print. They're so simple and yet I think they would make a lovely 3/4 sleeve dress with a bow on the waistband. Very Orla!
002: I have been avoiding florals for a while but all of a sudden they seem to be catching my interest once more. I particularly like this print because of the little wall details which give it something more than being just another floral print.
003: I love the cutesy reindeer in this Riley Blake range. I actually do have quite a few Xmas fabrics stacked up and ready to make festive dresses and bunting and presents with. In fact, one of them is this print but on a pale green background, but there is something about the red which is just so jolly. Elephant in my Handbag is a new site to me, but I placed my first order(s) with them this week and they arrived the next day - such good service and really friendly too, so I'd definitely recommend them!
Now what I need is about a week off so that I can actually sit down and sew all of the things on the list.
Love the daisy print. It would look lush as a swirly skirt!
ReplyDeleteoh, it really would - I was thinking a pinafore dress.
DeleteLove the mustard daisy print as well. I was spying it on fabric rehab this week too. Have you seen the blue jellyfish print? It's so cute!
ReplyDeleteIt's so cute, isn't it? I@ve got the blue jellyfish on their way!! :)
DeleteAmazing!! It'll make a great dress.
DeleteI love the first fabric, it is very bright and bold, just what I like.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what you make from it :)

Fashion, Well Done
I'm super tempted. Will have to try and work my way through what I've already got, though.
DeleteTheyre all lovely but I'm pArticularly enamoured by the mustard! X
ReplyDeleteI do love mustard - such an autumnal colour.
DeleteLove all of these! The thing that caught my attention most of all is the button (I love buttons, weirdly obsessed in fact). The top two fabrics are particularly awesome, so looking forward to seeing them transformed into dresses :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm sort of not surprised by that - I love your button decorations!
DeleteYup, big fan of mustard. I'm an online fabric buying virgin! I really should experiment.
ReplyDeleteDo it - I find there's just so much choice!
