Feels a bit strange posting these photos because I know I wore a really similar outfit not that long ago, but what can I say? I like the way this jumper seems to work over this dress.
These tights have been hanging around waiting for an opportunity to be worn for a while now. I couldn't resist them in the ASOS sale earlier in the year. One major benefit I can see to the recent slightly-shorter dresses I've been making (mostly because I've been buying 1.5m without realising until afterwards that will make a dress with a gathered skirt a few inches shorter than I'd been making previously), is that I can wear a pair of tights with cutesy detail like this and still be able to see it.
I didn't feel like my dress was *too* short exactly, but I think that's only because I wore it with the tights and flat shoes. To be fair, these shoes have been hanging about waiting to be worn for a while as well; I bought them back in February but have only just worn them. I figure they'll fit nicely into my wardrobe to replace the two pairs of metallic Irregular Choice flats which I had to get rid of during my challenge as they'd worn out.
And this coat, again. It might be my favourite coat purchase of the year.
