It doesn't seem to matter how much time I spend browsing the internet or looking at photos, I can never seem to figure out what kind of glasses suit me from the website. Luckily, Glasses Direct offer a rather good home trial service, so you can pick a few pairs and try them on at home. So much better than being hassled to make a decision in the opticians.

After browsing the Boutique for a while and deciding that I'm probably not brave enough for designer frames, I found myself going back to London Retro, whose glasses I've had before and really like.
The shape of the Loren frames drew me in but initially I was a little wary that the shape might not do me any favours. On the contrary; then they arrived and I tried them on, I decided that I love them.

What do you think?

  3. Gorgeous! I'm very lucky that the lady that works in the optician loves me coming in and chats about shoes! She gets me a seat and spends ages with me going through everything they have or looking up catalogues for what I like. My prescription didn't change much last time, so seeing as I already have two pairs of perfectly good glasses, I resisted buying new ones!

    1. Oh, it's goood that they give you plenty of choosing time. I always feel a bit hassled in the local optician.
