This past week has been rather mental. Aside from the current work stress, I've had something on every evening after the gym, given blood and cleared out some more of my wardrobes. Somehow I also managed to find a few minutes to make this fascinator.

This was one of those projects I'd decided I HAD TO make when I saw something similar in a vintage shop in Leeds a couple of years ago. Yes, it's taken me a while to get around to it, but I'm rather pleased. I can't quite decide if I'm wearing it in the right place as it looks a little off to me.

For an almost-snowy day on Thursday, I figured this snow scene Bernie Dexter dress was the perfect choice. My new-found love of coloured tights continues.

  1. The fascinator is really pretty, perfect for additional springy zing.
I'm not really awake yet. Made sense in my head.

I love your dress. I wish they'd reduced the Poppy England forest scene as I would definitely have bought it!!x

    1. Hmm, I don't think the tutorial would be very interesting, all I did was stitch fabric daisies onto a round hat base. Super simple!

    1. Thank you - I bought it for Xmas 2013, but didn't wear it this year as I'd made so many festive dresses, so I decided it needed to get out of the wardrobe whilst the weather was still snowy.
