Feeling under the weather today but aside from that the week has picked up a lot since Monday morning, where I felt like having a little cry on my desk. Here's hoping the rest of the month, and maybe even the year, follows suit...
Given that I've been full of cold and feeling generally rotten, comfort was key over style, which to me means thick knit tights, flat boots and lots of layers. I went for this Sugarhill Boutique bike dress which has been a firm favourite of mine since I got it last year, despite the fact that I'd usually not favour oversized smocks, nor such a short hemline.
I always forget about this leather jacket. I rediscovered it recently and, same as every time I do, wondered if I'd actually wear it. For some reason, in my head, leather jackets go best with jeans, which are just not me. But then, I threw it on over this lot and added the fur collar which I think provides a nice contrast, and figured it should retain it's spot in my wardrobe for at least a little longer.
Do you ever find items that you like, even though precedent suggests they're just not your usual cup of tea?
