A rather colourful outfit in an attempt to brighten up my Monday morning. Once again, it seems as though the weekend has sped by far too quickly. Highlights of my weekend included a woodland walk at the local National Trust property, eating far too much pic'n'mix and watching Jeeves and Wooster at the local theatre, which had me in tears of laughter for the entire duration.
I put this dress together last night. I seem to have a nice system going at the moment; one dress for someone else, one for me. And I'm making some good progress working through the fabric stash, at least.
I like the cute tiny bird print - this fabric was one which I picked up from Abakhan just before New Year and it was ever so cheap (or should that be "cheep"?!). I sort of worked with the colours in the bird print to decide on the rest of the outfit and it gave me another chance to wear my Orla Dotty heels, which I think I like more with the coloured tights than I did last time I wore them.
I can't recall if I've used this handbag before, but know for sure that it's the first outing for my Orla Kiely teacup print coat. I picked that up from eBay before Xmas, but it's quite a thin style, so it wasn't really appropriate for the cold spell we then experienced.
How was your weekend?
