Lace elephant..

Dress: H+M // Blazer + tights: Primark

I seem to be in a bit of a mid-week slump at the moment. I've not been sleeping much of late, and mornings have been a bit more of a rush. Wednesday mornings are my earliest start as my gym class begins at 6.45, so I'm posting some photos from a few weeks back.

I really liked the contrast of these patterned tights with the burgundy sandals, and thought this dress would match them quite nicely, until I realised just how short it was on me. It's since found a new home, and I'm wondering about making something similar, but a little longer on me. I've not shopped for lace fabrics before; any tips?

I'm off to the ballet this evening - very excited!

  2. I love the tights with the shoes, you're right, they go together beautifully and the pom pom style tops on the shoes are lovely! Sorry to hear you've been struggling with sleep, I've been having similar problems, it's always draining so I can relate. I hope your pattern returns soon. Hope you enjoy the ballet too and are having a wonderful week! - Tasha

    1. I think they look lovely with a plain pair of shoes - or as plain as your and my shoe collections get, anyway.

  5. I love those tights! Prettiest ones I've ever seen! You look amazing.

I'm sorry you've not been sleeping well lately. Sounds like you need a break and some TLC. You would never be able to drag me down the gym at that time of the morning; kudos for the dedication! Hope you had fun at the ballet. I've always wanted to go see one. xx
