Given my love for avocado, when I saw this recipe posted on Lisette's blog recently, I couldn't wait to give it a try. I bookmarked it quick-sharp and decided I'd make it for the next time I had people round for dinner.
The recipe itself is pretty simple, to be honest. And I don't know how much the quantities matter, as a lot of the end result is down to personal preference in terms of sweetness and texture. Also, as Lisette says in her post, avocados can vary in size greatly.
For my mixture I melted one bar of Lindt Excellence 90% dark chocolate, and when it was melted mixed in 1tbsp of milk and 2tbsp of honey. The avocado I used was quite large so I just used one, scooped it all into the blender and mixed them together.
I found that the mixture took a little while to properly combine, but once it had, it came out as a smooth, rich looking mousse-y substance. I spooned the mix into bowls and threw some raspberries on top as well, and popped them in the fridge until it was time to serve them. So easy and so tasty.
