Here comes the sun..

Dress: Laura Ashley
So, summer was nice, wasn't it. We've had a couple of sunny days, so that's probably our lot.

Here was yesterday's outfit to embrace the sun. Well, a little in the evening after a rather rotten day of waiting rooms and suchlike.

The dress is a vintage one which I'd come across when clearing out the next stage of the wardrobe clearout. I decided to hang onto it although I'm going to need to alter the length of the straps a little bit.

Sunglasses were a necessity and I managed to dig out some sandals which I'd not worn since last summer, along with a satchel handbag.

Did you make the most of the lovely weather at the weekend?

    1. Thank you - I do seem to gravitate towards this length of dress when the weather gets warmer as it means I can go bare-legged without showing too much of my huge legs off.

  3. Nice to find a vintage L.A dress, it is pretty and contrasts interestingly with its beautiful muted colours against the bright turquoise fitbit! Hope whatever you were in a waiting room for is ok. X

    1. Oooh, definitely give that a go. I tend to make a gathered skirt on just about any dress I make, lately.
