So, what better to do in sunny weather such as this than to take inspiration from Chuck from Pushing Daisies and dress for the sunshine. (NB: I've never actually seen that show, but have been pointed in the direction of her wardrobe for inspiration many a time.)

Gosh, I wish I had smaller legs. I really like this dress, though. I'll admit I'd completely forgotten about it until Donna was looking for one a little while ago. I dug around in my wardrobe and realised that I had two (in different sizes) and sent her on the one she was looking for.

I love this snail bag. And this hat, actually. I feel pretty summery in this outfit, perfect for the heat outside. Long may it continue!

  2. I love this dress - and your hat.

I am not a hat person but have just done a post on my new sun hat - necessary for this heatwave!

    1. Thank you - I'm trying hard to be a hat wearer. I have so many lovely ones and just have to get used to wearing them now.

  3. this outfit is perfection. you're so lucky to be able to wear yellow, I love it but it drains me completely, I look ill when I try to wear it.
The snail bag is all kinds of awesome *looks at boring navy blue bag and sighs*.
hope you have fun at the beach! I'm loving this weather but am mainlining Mr Freeze ice pops!

  5. You look amazing, and you have gorgeous legs! (So jealous!) I really wanted this dress, but I left it too late and my size was sold out when I went back. I really should have bought it when I first saw it, but c'est la vie. xx

  6. I love your outfit! The hat and dress are so perfect together. Fruit prints are my favourite - they're so adorably Fifties.

I have huuuuge calves so I understand when you say you wish you had smaller legs, but I really don't think yours are big at all!
