There's nothing particularly new or groundbreaking here, and I've shared all of these things before. These photos were taken when I was trying to test out the new (replacement) camera the other day. I've come to the conclusion that I really need to find myself a proper tripod to get outfit photos with. One for the Xmas list. Or maybe a photographer.

Finally, the end of the week is upon us and I'm pretty glad about it. It's been a tough one, to say the least. Here's hoping the next one is better.

  1. It looks good. Hurrah for the new camera. I'm so annoyed that a friend broke my tripod, it is really rickety now. X

    1. Thank you, I'm really not sure about the photos but think when I can set up soemthing a little more secure than just balancing the camera on the bookshelf it will be better.

  2. Lovely Char, that print is beautiful and I'm a big fan of re-using and re-sharing favourites. I hope the weekend is a lot better for you, hope you're OK! - Tasha

    1. Thanks, I seem to go through phases where I favour certain things. I had a productive weekend, so that's good.

  4. Have you seen the new 'Sew Vintage' magazine in tesco? There was a 1950s dress (short sleeve full skirt) and cape pattern. Your new pictures look good! clear. Love the gathering on the skirt.

    1. I think I used twice as much fabric as I usually would for this kind of skirt, so it's super full and I really love it.

    1. Thanks - I really didn't do anything special with it other than let it dry naturally after swimming.
