And the rain falls down on my door..

Camera Bag: Grafea
It was rather nice to have a day out yesterday and just ignore the rain showers. Conscious that I really ought to make more effort to make the most of my National Trust membership, Alex and I met at Erddig, which I had vague memories of last visiting with my grandparents when I was quite young.

We explored the servants' quarters and the grounds, making friends with the resident cat before enjoying a lunch of sausage and mash in the restaurant. A lovely Sunday and a chance to wear my new raincoat for the first time..!

    1. I have some more photos of the garden, although a lot of the house wasn't open due to winter opening hours, but I'll post some soon.

  4. Oo lovely mac! What a splendid way to spend a Sunday - sausage, mash, and making a cat friend? It doesn't get much better than that :)

    1. Isn't it a great coat - I can finally get rid of the horrible raincoat I had to buy when it was raining at the beach one day.
