Making more time..

OK, so that's impossible, I appreciate. But I was reading Cherry's post yesterday morning and it inspired me to have a little think about the things I would like to make more time for. I know I've already given some thought to goals and things I'd like to achieve during the year. But these things won't do themselves.

One of the goals I make every year which is the first to fall by the wayside is to spend more time at the allotment. Once I'm there, I'm happy pottering about, planting and such, but I think it's just that motivation to head to the plot and begin. I'm hoping that my monthly progress photos will at least help with that.

Other things I'd love to make time for include learning to crochet, clearing out my bookshelves and finishing the grand task of listing all of my wardrobe's contents in my virtual wardrobe app.

What would you most love to make more time for?

  2. I want to learn to crotchet as well. I'm determined to make, or at least get a good deal of the way through, a crotchet blanket this year! X

  3. Learning how to crochet is on my to-do list for 2016, too. I've wanted to learn how to make a blanket for years, so I'm actually going to get round to it this year. Hopefully. xx

    1. So many of my friends are good at crochet, I'm hoping they can give me tips if I get a little stuck with it.

  4. I bet there aren't many allotments that can boast an Irregular Choice bag ;)
It's so important to make time for things you enjoy and find relaxing. I'd like to get out and about more, walking, breathing in clean air, gardening, eating alfresco. And more time for friends. I simply don't see enough of them.

  5. I'd love to have more time for sewing and crafts in general. I always say I don't have time yet it's clearly just a matter of priorities - I seem to have plenty of time for reading, blogging and messing about on Twitter, for example!

    1. Yes, I think it's about planning my time better and actually sticking to that plan. Lately I've had a list of things to do of an evening but it's so easy to get sucked into "I'll just check Twitter etc" first, and then I don't have time for it all..

  6. There's loads of things I not only wish I had time to do, but the energy/concentration for too. I really miss sewing and making stuff, but realistically I'm just not able for that.
