I won these shoes a couple of weeks ago, and since their arrival they've been sitting on the living room table awaiting an outfit post. I figured that they'd sorta, kinda go with this dress and coat combination.
The shoes are Irregular Choice's Alaska wedges, which I think were released in 2013 if memory serves. I'm always happy to add to my collection where I can. These are a wooden wedge platform, which makes them fairly heavy. They fasten with a velcro strap, which makes them super easy to get the perfect fit around your ankle, and they're also remarkably comfortable.
Speaking of new additions, this Topshop cardigan was one of those superb last-minute 99p bid scenarios as well and I'm smitten with it. The print is super cute and I've already worn it loads. I've also used my little milk carton bag a lot as well.
I was wondering about whether my style has evolved much the other day, and I don't really know the answer. I'm still no fan of trousers and would always pick a dress over a skirt / top combination. More recently I seem to favour patterned or coloured tights over plain or nudes and I'm more happy to clash patterns (all of the patterns!) I guess. But I don't really think I've changed that much. I read Sarah's blog post about tastes changing as you grow older, but I don't think I've noticed that just yet.
