Oh, it's been one of those never-ending weeks. How do the short ones do that?! But, end it did, and I'm super pleased to be spending the weekend with some of my favourites and hoping the lovely weather will hold out. Although saying that, I'll feel less guilty about abandoning the allotment if the weather sucks. On the other hand, my first Parkrun will be even more horrendous in the rain, no doubt. So I don't really mind what the weather chooses to do. I digress.

One sunny day this week, I donned this pretty new dress, sent to me by those lovely folks at House of Fraser who had some cracking 40% off deals on this week. I've been admiring this pretty tea and cakes print for a while now - pastels and quirky prints are always going to get my vote - and I have to admit this dress was even more lovely in real life than I'd expected. It's fully lined and the bodice is boned so it holds it's lovely shape really well.

I decided to wear it (despite my sunburnt shoulders) out for dinner, pairing it with my Irregular Choice White Rabbit heels. This is the first time I've worn these since they arrived, and I am still fairly happy with the size, although maybe would have sized up had I had the option. They're completely wearable, though.

  2. You look so pretty! What a gorgeous dress. Oh, and loving the post title- I was listening to that song this afternoon in the sunshine. I know a lot of fans hated that album, but it's one of my faves. :) xx

  3. Wow - what a lovely outfit - and just perfect with the gorgeous IC shoes! I have the blouse version of the dress from Yumi as I don't feel comfortable with strapless designs (and I specifically bought the top to go with a pair my IC Alice in Wonderland shoes too). Am now tempted to get the dress.....
