Sunday Shoes 112: Miss L Fire Fleur

Miss L Fire Fleur sandals*
It's been a while since I purchased a pair of shoes which didn't feature a gravity-defying heel, it has to be said. However, sometimes a pair of sandals grabs your attention and you decide you can't live without them. Well, it might not happen to you, but I can assure you it does to me - these are proof.

Let me introduce you to the aptly named Fleur. Bright and fabulous, these flat sandals caught my eye a while ago as I was browsing the Spartoo UK site and their cheerful design stuck in my mind for a while. We might not have had the weather to justify these, but I'm off to America in August and will be doing a lot of walking - we have a crazy schedule - so I'm hoping that by giving myself a month to wear these in, they'll be perfect for the job.

I think one of my favourite things about them is the level of detail in the flowers - amazingly cute textured centres in the midst of the 3D petals. All made from leather, so I'm confident of the longevity of these and they also fasten with a buckle, which is a mega requirement of sandals for me. I'm no good with flip flops and always want something which can actually be fastened properly when it comes to summer shoes. Fleur are my very first pair of Miss L' Fire shoes, but I'm already fairly sure that they won't be the last...!

  1. I adore the Miss L fire shoes but unfortunately their largest size are size 8 and they are too small for my feet- I wanted these ones too and another sparkly turquoise pair of Mary Janes which I tried in Collectif but they hurt!! Good luck with these beauties!

    1. I love these. I had to throw out an old pair of gold sandals last week because they'd fallen apart so I think these will probably replace them as my go-to sunny weather sandals.

    1. They really do. I was torn between these and the ones with the swimmers on them.
