'Cause in your warmth I forget how cold it can be..

Collar Clips: Layla Amber // Cardigan: Handmade (Andi Satterlund Miette)
Over the years I've built up quite the collection of Emily and Fin dresses but this is possibly my favourite. I saw it in the shops an absolute age ago, and ummed and ahhed because I already own other seaside print dresses. Then it went into the sale and I remembered how much I adore the seaside as it calms me. And so, I justified it to myself and here we are.

I know, I'm pretty weird. I'm learning to be cool with that.

Also very much liked the opportunity to wear my Miette cardigan again - I really want to make another but there is so much knitting to be done first. I have a huge list of knitting to do before the dreaded C-word. These collar clips go pretty nicely with it, though, I'm pleased at the prospect of wearing them on cardigans, as I rarely wear blouses with collars.

  1. What a pretty outfit! You do look lovely and yes, it is good to wear collar clips as cardigan clips too! I rarely do that but it is a good idea when wearing an open cardie but want it to stay in perfect condition!

  2. Yeah I also wear collar clips on cardi's instead because I don't wear blouses/shirts. I absolutely love this dress. I don't think you can ever have too many seaside/landscape printed items!! I also adore Pretty Poodle.
