It's cute in a way, till you cannot speak..

Dress: Lindy Bop // Jumper: Handmade
I'm still feeling awful, but there's no time to dwell on being ill (or anything else for that matter). I have so much to do and it's stressing me out because I worry too much about everything. Ugh. Most of it, particularly the work parts, are things that I can do absolutely nothing to influence until they happen, so I really shouldn't be worrying about them. But it's a hard habit to break.

Still a week or so of work, I'm kind of trying to get the most from my Christmassy clothes, but added this jumper over my Vivi dress because this cold (or whatever it is) has had me shivering. Luckily a friend came over last night to chat and introduced me to my first Lemsip. They're kind of helping. I've never bothered doing anything other than letting a cold run it's course before.

Tights: New Look // Shoes: Red or Dead
Trying hard to use this waiting time to get on top of the festive prep. A couple more Christmas cakes delivered, repairs being sorted out for the cars (hopefully), and I'm booking myself on a learn-to-ski course, which I'm excited about. Where's the best place to buy ski clothes from?

  1. TK Maxx for skiing wear. Avoid anything white or pale blue - if you do (god forbid) get buried in snow, you want to be easy to find. I find a fleecy buff really helpful.

It is also very worthwhile getting the next level up of skiing boot. So much more comfortable. Skis/poles don't make such a difference when you're still figuring it out, but the boots do.

  3. Yeah I agree, I'm sure I've seen ski wear in TKMaxx (though YEARS ago). Sorry to hear you're still unwell, my Dad absolutely swears by Lemsip. Just be careful not to OD on it as it does contain paracetamol too (if you're already taking that). I bought this dress too, absolutely adore the print, but detest this new fabric they are using, so sent it back. It didn't do me any favours (especially on top), I was gutted because the print and placement of it, is just so pretty. It looks lovely on you.
