Frankly, I'm in the throes of an obsession. After rewatching The Graduate on Wednesday at my favourite little indie cinema, I'm not only finding myself humming along to the Simon and Garfunkel soundtrack, but I'm also thinking I might use Mrs Robinson as my style inspiration from now on.
001: "Wood or wire? They have both." I absolutely adore this coat. I mean, I've spoken before about how I don't really need any more coats in my life. Ever. My But my goodness, this Biba beauty has such a lovely luxe look and it's removable collar gives it the option to adapt it to suit any outfit..Alternativelky, try this one if you're not a fan of the collar.
002: All of the animal print is the most apparent thing, and I've been noticing a lack of leopard print in my wardrobe of late. This top is just £7.80 in the Collectif sale, and they're currently offering a further 50% off everything with the code NIFTY50 so I'd urge you to make the most of that if you haven't already.
003: Because I never really need an excuse to shop for lingerie. And this suspender belt is just beautiful. Perfect seductress vibes, no?
004: Probably one of those retro styles which I've always shied away from, but these wide leg palazzo pants just look so airy and comfortable as well as giving the air of effortless chic. I think that the patterned ones might risk looking a little too much like pyjamas, so am wondering about a plain pair like these from Dresslily...? I'm not sure I can *do* trousers, though.
Who's your style icon this week? Do you ever see something and then take inspiration from it, or get a little obsessed like I do?
