|Jam Dress: Book of Deer|
|Owl handbag: LYDC|
Another weekend seems to have whizzed by without a care. Mine had a fairly great start and I found myself feeling more positive than I have in a while. I caught up with friends, saw my Nan for coffee, dug over and planted up some of the allotment, fell asleep in front of the TV with one of my favourite people and managed to get 1.5 dresses made.
In fact, all was going well until I was at the theatre on Sunday night and my horrible stomach pains came back. Still struggling to establish a cause, and it's still here today. I'm hoping that it passes soon as at the moment I'm in a lot of pain.
Onto more exciting things, though. I was recently treated to this dress from Book of Deer, which I've been so excited about, ever since I saw the preview pictures last year. The SS15 County Kitchen collection is finally available online and this beautiful jam print dress is, for me, the stand-out piece.
I was just as impressed with it in real life, which is always good when a brand is new to you. I love the floaty nature of the fabric and the cut of the dress. It's long enough, which is always a winner with me - I think I'm passed that "is that a dress or a top?" phase, if indeed I ever went through that phase..
I added these silver tights to try and break up the matchy-matchy nature of these Topshop heels, which seem to be my go-to shoes at the moment. And I dug a bird necklace and my owl handbag out of their respective living quarters to try and finish things off.
