Friday Favourites 163..

Lorna Darling Coat
001: Darling Lorna Coat, £120, Lilac Rose
Lola Ramona
002: Lola Ramona boots, £214.38, Spartoo

This week I've been all ready to embrace Autumn, and then instead of crisp, cold mornings, instead we seem to be having crazy warm afternoons. What the actual? I've even been told that there's a heatwave on the way in October. Hmm.

Anyway, I'm not sure when the actual Autumn weather will be here but this week's wishlist features a couple of things I'd love to get my hands on before it does.

001: Because I definitely don't own enough coats already and I love how Audrey Hepburn the shape of this Lorna coat is. Lilac Rose never fail to pick the best items to stock and Darling never fail to make pretty coats.

002: These Lola Ramona boots keep catching my eye. They're so *normal* by my standards, and yet the mix of textures and of course the addition of the bow to the side makes them the perfect way to prettify a dull work outfit. Plus, their monochrome-ness means they'd go with just about anything, no?

What are you wishing for this week? Are you looking forward to the onset of Autumn or hoping to hand on to Summer for that little while longer?

  1. Need you ask? SUMMER of course!!! That coat IS really nice!! X

    1. Haha, I love Summer, but I also like that transition into Autumn.

  2. It's been lovely to see the sun out and have higher temperatures than we did most of summer (though I'm not a great one for feeling hot). Hmm, the boots are a bit clunky shaped...they kinda look like presents waiting to be unwrapped!

    1. Yes, it's maybe the heel and toe being the different texture which adds to the clunkiness, do you think?

  3. I always wish summer would last just a little bit longer.
I've been looking for a new winter coat, I irdered one that I loved the look of but the arms were to tight, even with just a shirt underneath - what use is that?! - and the big pockets turned out to be fake pockets, again what's the use?!
You have to have this coat, it's divine!

    1. I do love summer, so wouldn't be adverse to it hanging around. Yes, coat sleeves have to be wide enough for layering.
