I hope she'll be a fool - that's the best thing a girl can be in this world, a beautiful little fool..

Dress: Lindy Bop // Sequin jacket: Vintage shop
Bag: Unknown

A couple of weeks ago, I had tickets to the theatre and was in two minds whether or not I wanted to go. I mean, I wanted to go, but I was in a lot of pain and didn't know how well I was going to cope with sitting there. I ummed and ahhed and then decided with about ten minutes to get there that I *would* go, dosed up on painkillers and with minutes to drag together an outfit.

This beaded jacket is one of those things I'd expect to see my Nan wear on a cruise ship. My magpie tendencies got the better of me when I saw it in a vintage shop and I decided to wear it with this lovely Lindy Bop dress, which I was sent as a gift last year by one of my Twitter followers.
As I was off to see The Great Gatsby, I grabbed this little bag to finish things off. I picked this up in a charity shop so many years ago and sadly have no idea of brand as it had no tags. My trusty Irregular Choice gold boots to combat the torrential rain, and I was out of the house within ten minutes - I made it just in time.

Spatz boots: Irregular Choice

  1. You look stunning! That outfit is so gorgeous. Everything goes so well together, and I'm impressed you just threw it together last minute. I hope you didn't suffer too much sitting down at the theatre. xx

    1. It was quite uncomfortable, but the performance was wonderful and I'm glad that I went.

  2. Wow!! its a gorgeous ensemble! i hope you enjoyed yourself?

    1. I did, although I was in a lot of pain :(

  3. Love it. The jacket is so cool, you don't wear it like a Nan - it's all about how you wear it.
The bag is cute and perfect for the occasion :)
