Paris in flames..

Bernice Dress: Lindy Bop
Glow heels: Topshop // Tights: Pamela Mann
Cardigan: Collectif

I know I've already mentioned this but Lindy Bop are knocking it out of the park when it comes to their new designs. This is the Bernice dress, which I featured on my Friday Favourites recently and was lucky to as an early birthday present, which meant I could wear it for a pre-birthday night out with my best friend, who came to stay last weekend.

It's a lovely dress, bright blue clouds and a fabulous Paris skyline with accents of pink which made me think to pair it with the new flamingo cardigan, these shoes and to wear my Pierrot clown necklace for the first time - goodness knows how long that's been sitting in my jewellery box.

Pierrot necklace: Tatty Devine

I've been thinking a lot about Amy's article on being stuck between body positivity and clean eating, and feeling as though so much of it sounds familiar to my tired brain. My brain which is so tired of thinking all of these self-destructive thoughts, tired of counting calories and getting nowhere. I don't know what I need to change, but I guess it's something I need to figure out if I ever want to hope for finding that holy grail of being at least content with myself.

  1. That really does look amazing!!! I hope you will become content with yourself- makes me sad!

  2. Another fabulous Lindy Bop dress and another fabulous outfit! I love the flamingo cardi and dress together; they work so well together. I know you struggle to see it, but you look amazing, as you always do! I hope that one day you'll reach that content place, and be able to see it, too. xx

  3. I love that dress, I have been lusting after it since I saw it on the site. I just wish I had the funds to buy it or an occasion to wear it!

  4. So pretty with that necklace too. This was the dress I struggled to get. I eventually got it in the size smaller, but they didn't send it because it was OOS. Then I saw it again in the same size last week and figured the same would happen, but no, I got it! My erm cup well runneth over, but I have this cardi too and was totally thinking before I saw this, that they would look good together. If I don't need to breathe and button the cardi, it might look alright on me!
