I'm struggling a little with today's topic. I'm not sure how "green" I am.
I do recycle as much as I can, re-use bags, packing materials, scrap paper etc and the usual things. I either sell on or donate my old clothes when I'm getting rid of them, or if they're really past their best I chop the fabric up and turn it into something else. In fact, talking of selling on clothes, I've just updated the blog sale page with 54 items of clothing so far...

And I suppose I am attempting to "grow my own", with my allotment. The next task on my list is to get the compost heaps built, when I've sourced some old pallets, so that I can turn all of the weeds and food waste into compost to be used on next year's veggies.

P.S. I promise I'll write back to you this week! You're such an interesting person, I'm trying to find a way to make myself sound not as boring as I actually am ;) haha

  2. I can't wait to have home grown fruit and veg, but I know it's a long way off yet. We have realised this year that little is more. We simply can't plant everything in time, so are only planting the basics xxx

  3. Sounds good to me. I'm very similar in my green ways. We've also made a pledge to try and furnish our house with second hand furniture, which gives me an excuse to go to all sorts of shops I'd never normally get my other half into, result! Hehe.
Hope the composting goes well, if my brother is to be believed there is a knack to getting good compost. I have plans for a compost heap and more veg in time but at the moment it's just salad and herbs in my greenhouse. And strawberries :-)
