After a day in London on Tuesday where I managed to ruin the heel tips on two pairs of shoes, and walk around the city in 6 inch heels for about ten hours, I felt that my feet needed a bit of a break. So Wednesday saw me don a pair of loafers which remind me a little of "granny chic" slippers.

I took the opportunity to dig out my Duck & Duffel Audrey dress, which I'd not worn since a different trip to London, back in November. It's a lovely dress, but just too short to wear with anything other than flat shoes and black opaques. I teamed it with a trusty old cardigan which has probably seen better days as it's getting a bit bobbly.

This weekend is a bit of a mad rush. Having spent all day building new paths at the allotment and finally getting my rhubarb planted, tonight is our poker party so I've been furiously baking and decorating. Hope all weekends are going well.

  2. I love my flat comfy shoes, and I used to wear heels all the time, so I think those Grandma slippers are to die for :)
Have fun at your poker party.

    1. Thanks! The loafers are one of those things I picked up because I liked the print and have been surprised by how much I've actually worn them!
