|Dress: Bonne Chance Collections|
|Shoes: Irregular Choice|
This dress is another of the ones I received from Bonne Chance Collections last week - it's called the Sweet Treats Dress. Cute button detail to the shoulders, contrasting polka dot trim around the waist and a pretty cupcake print; it's lovely!
I don't often favour flats, but for shorter dresses, I just feel more comfortable in them. I dug these out of the storage box and remembered how much I liked them; they're a rather old Irregular Choice pair. I have a matching pair of heels (well, two actually) and a clutch bag, hiding somewhere. I think that collectively, they're up there in my favourite pairs of ICs.
As this post goes live, I'm on my way to London for the day. Mostly for my Queen's Guide presentation, which is going to be in a private room at the House of Lords (and not at the Palace at all - the shame!) but I have a few other things planned to make the most of my day in they city.
The dress code for the presentation didn't give me much to go on, other than "formal attire" so I wasn't sure what to wear, but I think I've settled on something good, and I'm going to try and get some touristy photos taken.
I'm also hoping to make some more progress on the 52books challenge, as I'm worried about falling behind schedule and the train is a good place to read.
