I knew I needed a pair of flat shoes for yesterday's errands, so headed to my drawers of flat shoes. (I keep ballet flats and pumps which don't have boxes of their own in one of those plastic sets of drawers, which is really useful.)
I found these cartoon speech bubble print flats and figured they might go quite nicely with this striped dress, which I only like to wear with flat shoes since it seems to have shrunk in the wash and got a lot shorter.
I added this shrug from Dorothy Perkins' All About Rose collection, which is currently in the sale, to try and add some colour to the outfit in the hope that it would look a little less "convict chic"!
Still loving my tortoiseshell sunglasses from F+F. Mostly to cover the bags under my eyes from lack of sleep. And this fish necklace was quite the bargain at 50p from my new favourite charity shop.
Actually, wearing flat shoes was quite refreshing for a change.
