Friday Favorites 111..

Fever London Iris Coat
001: Iris Coat, Fever London, £129.99
Duchesse Leopard Boots
002: Duchesse Panther Boots, CoqueTerra, £110.99

OK, so is anyone else as confused by this weather as I am? One minute we seem to be well on our way to Winter and the next there are folks wandering about sunglasses.

I'm sure it's going to turn again soon, and when it does, I'm going to be prepared. I'm all about the Autumn styles. Yes, that means MOAR coats.

001: Whilst I'll admit that my coat collection seems to have grown exponentially over the past few months weeks, I'm going to be making room for one more. This one more, in fact. I love the colour of this; the Iris. Fever never fail to come up with lovely classic designs, but with a quirky twist to them. I love that the Iris coat is designed to be worn over dresses, as that's where so many coat styles seem to fall flat for me. I don't wear jeans, so cocoon coats and trapeze styles just look wrong over a dress and heels. I need tailoring, and this ticks all of the boxes.

002: I don't have a lot of boots. Well. In comparison to the number of shoes I have, I don't have as many boots. Lately I've been thinking about shoddy weather and how I like the idea of teaming a pretty dress with patterned tights and a pair of boots - y'know, when the weather really starts to suck (so probably by this time next week, then).

I make no secret of the fact that I have a bit of a thing for leopard print. I love it. Particularly on a grey background, so what with their print and the tassels on the zipper, these boots have well and truly won me over.

Are you clinging on to the last of the Summer or are you impatiently waiting for Winter?

  4. Summer=me clinging!
Nice coat, I'd be tempted if I hadn't already got loads that don't get worn much due to not being wAterproof and my walking to work, it'd have to be waterproof for me to be tempted at the mo.
I'm not a leopard print fan but these are a nice shape! X

  6. Perfect coat. I used to have my coats hanging (on hangers) on a thing on the back of my bedroom door. We got new doors put on and now I can't do it. So I've had to leave them in the spare room for now and they are on the floor and Mum has informed she's been 'walking' on them because she had no choice! Not to mention the spiders that'll have creeped their way in, so it's probably just as well I'm too ill to leave the house. No outdoor winter wardrobe for me : (

    1. Yeah, mine are currently on hooks on all of the doors in my flat, but it's getting to the point where I can barely get in / our of rooms.

  8. That coat is gorgeous! You need it! I bought a coat in the same shape last winter, except it's burgundy and has a fur trim collar, and the style is perfect over dresses- especially knee length fit and flare designs. I think it's definitely a great investment. The boots are lovely, too. xx

  9. That coat is such a gorgeous shape and length! I know what you mean about finding tailored coats which are long enough for dresses. They're not easy to find.

    1. It's so tricky, and they don't seem to come up that often, so it's important to buy them when you see them, right?
