So, my outfit for Day 3 of #OWOP is another new dress. I'd been eyeing this fabric up online and was really pleased to find it on one of the stalls at the Quilting Show last month. I snapped up 1.5m and decided that it'd be another cute addition to my growing collection of Simplicity 2444 dresses. It's like tiny little apartment blocks and I really like the tiny little details, but not the fact that some of it is printed upside-down.

The shoes are new to me, too. I picked them up from eBay last week, for a little more than I'd have liked, but it's a style I've been hoping to find for a good long while now. The cute little bows and bunnies and ric rac details along with the colour-scheme do make me think Easter, but I didn't want to wait that long to wear them!

I inadvertently went for a very similar colour-scheme to last week's newsprint dress, but I was excited to wear this dinosaur necklace as well (another eBay purchase from somewhere in Hong Kong). I've been after *that* Tatty Devine dino necklace for oh-so-long, but had never been able to bring myself to spend that much on it at the time and now the white doesn't seem to be in production any longer, so for the tiny sum of £6, I went for this one instead. I actually think I like the colour better, and matched it to my cardigan.

This week's coat count: Two sold, two purchased. (So far.)

  1. Another gorgeous dress! I'm really liking this pattern - think I'll have to get my hands on it, but not before I've tried out all my other patterns first! I still have the ones I won from your giveaway, plus a few others that I couldn't help buying, oops! Plus I haven't even got any of my sewing up on my blog yet - so useless. Anyway, love the shoes and cardigan with the dress, they work really well :)

Amazing, just amazing - everytime I visit, I want to get my sewing machine out, I have these two great vogue patterns, but they are just so overwhelming for me!
