Your lovebird is flying away..

Alice heels: Boden

Another recent make: I finished this dress at the weekend and was trying to decide what to wear it with, when I saw someone at the wedding I attended, wearing these shoes. It reminded me that although I bought them back in December, I'd popped them away until the weather got a little nicer and....promptly forgot about them. I'm glad I dug them out, though - I really love them, and that's coming from someone who isn't often a fan of pointed toes.

Half Pint Satchel: Brit-Stitch
I love the colours in this fabric, although it's more poly than cotton and it's quite static. I lined the bodice but not the skirt, which is a decision I might live to regret. I love the cheerful colours in the print, and decided I'd go with my pink Brit-Stitch satchel and a pink sequin collar to pick out the colour.

Here's hoping this lovely weather stays, as I have oh-so-much to be doing at the allotment this weekend, but I've a feeling it's set to turn.

  3. I do like these shoes, but Boden are soooo expensive, especially their footwear. I'd rather be buying designer or IC for that price. I believe Primark had a copy-cat version, though I haven't been shopping for so long, I don't know. Cute print on that dress.

    1. Yep, I guess they're quite comparable to IC prices, these days. I've not been in a Primark so far this year - probably wouldn't last long on the shopping ban, so have been avoiding.

  6. Oh this is pretty!
Spray the inside of the skirt with hairspray to stop static or put a safety pin in the hem - works for me.
