Nicholas King x London Retro..

Nicholas King Estelle glasses. £90

I recently went for another eye test. It had only been about 12 months since my last one, but having experienced some headaches and soreness in my eyes recently I decided it was high time for another one. Lo and behold, my prescription has changed and I'll be needing some new glasses to wear for work and reading. And I know exactly which pair I want.

Jewellery designer Nicholas King has announced a charity range of glasses in support of eye charity Orbis, and they're due to hit the Glasses Direct site some time this month. I'm reeeeally holding out for the Estelle pair above with the starry arms and the NK crown on the wing tip as a signature.

Orbis have been working to prevent avoidable blindness since 1982. In that time, they have trained 325,000 doctors and nurses in 92 countries, which I find kind of mind-blowing.

Glasses Direct have been supporting Orbis since 2008, with all profits from each sale of this range being donate to Orbis.

I'll just be sure not to do any reading until the collection get released.

    1. They're lovely aren't they. I was surprised at how much my eyes seem to have deteriorated and relatively quickly.
