Yarn Along {6}

It will come as a surprise to nobody to discover that I am *still* working away on the Miette cardigan. I'm sure that many knitters can knock one of these out in just days, but it's taken me a little while to get into a rhythm with the sleeves, which just seem a little awkward, being so few stitches on such a long wire on the circular needles. The pattern all makes sense at the moment, though, so it's just a case of finding the time to finish off the sleeves, then all I have to do is the buttonhole band and figure out what blocking is all about. Maybe by next week I'll have moved onto something new....

In book news, I'm between titles at the moment, but about to start this - Story of a Secret Heart, which is currently free on Amazon Kindle.

Linking up with Ginny's Yarn Along.

  1. I was just saying to Alex the other day, that I'd quite like to get back into knitting. I don't read patterns though and have trouble casting on and off (can never remember how to do it despite being told repeatedly), but find the actual knitting process quite therapeutic. Not sure my arms are strong enough for it these days though, I struggle even if I have to type a lot. It's a pretty shade of wool you picked.

    1. I've learned to read patterns recently. I have also managed to figure out casting on, after a LOT of trial and error. Previously, I was having to go to my Nan's house to get her to help everytime I needed to cast on any stitches.
